Blackout Roller Blinds

Posted by snug concepts on March 15, 2009

At Snug Concepts we appreciate that there are many choices when thinking about what to use for window decoration and how it can be overwhelming of which too choose.

As we have said previously roller blinds are not new but with the choices of colours and decorative features like the Geo roller blind you can have a fashionable and affordable window treatment in a short time.

However if you are like me and sometimes like to take a nap in the afternoon or like my wife who is a light sleeper then a black out blind is for you. These come in a choice of either patterned blackout blind or plain blackout blind. Either way the end result is a simple but clean look that offers a great way to block out the light.

Another major advantage of the these types of roller blinds is that they stop a lot of heat escaping from the room. Being made from a multi layer fabric gives superb thermal qualities. So, even if you want curtains at the window, adding blackout blinds as a secondary thermal barrier can help keep those heating bills down.

Some exciting news for the web site is that we shall shortly be offering an increased range of colours and patterns within our Blackout Roller Blind section.

We already offer fantastic blackout blinds for fun rooms or kids rooms, through the Sunlover patterned blackout range and we especially like the Princess Pink and the Star blackout roller blinds. We’ll talk about these in more detail in the future along with the new products.
